Arboricultural and Horticultural Ethics & Standards
Our accreditation by both the Tree Care Industry Association and the Better Business Bureau of NH demands that we adhere to the very best business practices. All of our arborists abide by this pledge:
"As members of Tree Care Industry Association, we strive to uphold the honor and dignity of our profession and improve the quality of life through increasing our knowledge and skills in the management of trees, shrubs, and other landscape plants entrusted to our care.
Further, we strive to upgrade the standards of arboriculture and encourage others to follow our principles. We will conduct ourselves in a fair and just manner in dealing with the public, our employees, and our fellow arborists. We will work constantly to increase the esteem and nurture the acceptance of arboriculture as a profession, for the betterment of our society and the world."
And our entire company adheres to the TCIA Code of Ethics.
As part of our commitment to quality we adhere to the standards set forth by ANSI for arboricultural practices.

Safety: For Our Crews and You
We take safety very seriously, for the health and well being of our employees, and for the protection of you and your property. We follow the ANZI133.1 Safety Standards, and each of our employees receives a minimum of 40 hours of arborist or forester safety training per year, in addition to CPR/First Aid. And as part of our accreditation, we also have one Certified Treecare Safety Professional for every 10 employees.

Insurance
One of the stringent requirements associated with our TCIA Accreditation is that we maintain comprehensive insurance coverage for property, vehicles, liability, and worker’s compensation. We are happy to provide all clients with a current copy of our Certificate of Insurance, with you as named insured. Disreputable service companies purchase insurance policies, make plenty of copies to distribute to potential clients, and then cancel the coverage. Always request a Certificate of Insurance with the current date and you as named insured from any service provider on your property. Please contact our Woodstock headquarters for more information.

Our Environmental Commitment
At chippers, environmental initiatives are taking root at all levels - from simple efforts to be as paperless as possible on a daily basis to aggressively seeking ways to reduce our company's fossil fuel reliance. We encourage our employees to offer suggestions for waste reduction, recycling and reuse at every level of our operation to support sustainable business practices. We're proud of what we have achieved thus far, but recognize there's much more still to do. We feel a collective urgency to make strides toward a more ecologically responsible future. Our clients expect and deserve nothing less.
