Our product is plant, pet & people friendly, and will not stain carpets or floors when used as directed. Unlike some chemical ice melts or rock salt, our product will not cause a slippery surface as it works. Our ice melt contains a natural peach color for easy application, not a harsh dye to track inside. No protective equipment is needed to apply and your pets will thank you for not having damaged paws! Best of all, we will deliver by the bag or pallet depending upon the need. Click here to download a pdf with more information.

The number one way exotic insects pests such as Asian Long Horned Bettle or Emerald Ash Borer are introduced to a new geographic area is through the transport of firewood. Please - buy your firewood locally - it's good for the local economy and it keeps these devastating insects at bay. Find more information at our Plant Health Care page.
Some unscrupulous tree care providers purchase liability and worker's compensation coverage, copy the Certificate of Insurance from the issuing agent, and then quickly cancel the policy and continue to provide unware consumers with copies of the policy, claiming to still be fully insured. The only protection you have as a consumer is to work with a reputable company that provides those certificates directly from an insurance agent, with you as a named insured on the policy. Contractors without insurance usually have much better pricing - it sounds like a great deal until the true risks are revealed!

This summer we lost our beloved co-worker Phil French after a long battle with cancer. His French's Tree Service upheld the highest quality standards for tree care since 1978, and when we purchased his company in 2005, we made a commitment to uphold those standards as part of our company's mission. We miss you every day Phil, but your legacy continues on through chippers. We won't let you down!
Could it be a baby moose??? Or is it...a carving of a moose? Only the arborist/photographer knows.... Let us know what you think: askthearborist@chippersinc.com.
