We are a team of professional arborists, turf & plant health care specialists, horticulturalists, land care experts, maple syrup producers and customer service representatives bringing beauty and health to your green and growing world.  We have been serving residential, commercial and institutional clients since 1986 with three locations in central VT and NH.

We are proud to be accredited by both the Better Business Bureau of NH and the Tree Care Industry Association for the dependable and quality-oriented ArboricultureTurf & Soil CareGarden Maintenance & Installation and  Land Enhancement services we provide.

We are also extremely proud to have been renamed one of the Best Places to Work in Vermont for 2020 (we won in 2019 too) AND we are one of the 2019 Best Companies to Work For in New Hampshire (winners for NH 2020 will be announced in September). Chippers has also been recognized by the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) for two safety awards, in 2017 and 2018, for our I WILL safety program. This award honors tree care companies with proactive programs to address safety issues. Our I WILL safety mantra delivers an important and powerful safety message in a memorable way: “I WILL,” stands for Work safely, Invest in others, Learn from mistakes, Lead by example”. This mantra has special meaning as it honors the memory of our founder Will Russell, who died in 2010. Will lived both personally and professionally by the I WILL mantra.

Two local Chamber of Commerce have recognized Chippers’ contributions to our communities: the 2016 Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce (HACC) Small Business Innovator of Year and the 2014 Woodstock Area Chamber of Commerce Community Business of the Year. The HACC describes this award as an area small business whose integrity and creativity enhanced the vitality of the community. Committee member Dean Cashman of Lake Sunapee Bank stated “It really starts with Chippers having such a great reputation. The company has expanded its services which creates and sustains jobs, while continuing to support its communities”. Winners of this award are acknowledge by the HACC for being dynamic and engaging leaders who model the value of change, the benefits of commitment to building and sustaining a strong community and the courage to pursue and realize dreams.
