Shoreline Protection Consultation
Our ISA Certified Arborists meticulously assesses your site and make recommendations for compliance with all regulations of New Hampshire’s Shoreland Water Quality Protection Act and the Vermont Shoreland Protection Act.
Selecting Trees & Shrubs for Wildlife Habitat and Sustainable Landscapes
We like the four Bs – birds, bees, butterflies and bats! Our consulting professionals can assist you with tree & shrub selection and planting for your preferences, environmental & soil conditions, and aesthetic desires for attracting friendly critters. And of course, selecting a tree that will mature comfortably in the chosen location is key.

Pre-Winter Audit for Storm Damage Prevention
Arranging for one of our ISA Certified Arborists to perform a prevention audit may protect your property from unnecessary storm damage. Some of our recommendations might include: removing dead and damaged limbs, cabling and/or bracing and sweeping heavy snow from trees and shrubs following storms. If you are planting new trees or replacing those damaged by ice we recommend consulting this PDF published by the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension about Ice Resistant Trees.
And don’t forget to protect your trees from deer browse and winter wind burn, winter kill and drought damage with our Plant Health Care DeerPro® and anti-desiccant services.
Storm Damage Assistance
When storms approach our crews remain on call and are available to assist you with all tree-related emergencies and post-storm cleanup. We will prepare an invoice to meet your insurance company’s requirements. Call 802.742.6564 in VT or NH and we will respond with the help that you need.
Lightning Protection
When a lightning strike injures one of your prized trees the results can be both devastating and dangerous. Lightning protection systems provide a safe path to ground. Using our industry’s ANSI Standard (A300), we attach air terminals and copper cable to adequate grounds, using a ground rod or plates. It’s an affordable system that will give you peace of mind while protecting your valuable trees.

We offer our knowledgeable consultants to speak on green care related subjects for your club or other group meetings. Our topics range from everything to do with tree and turf health to landscape related subjects such as planting to attract birds and beneficial insects.
