Woodstock, Vermont is perennially voted as one of the most beautiful villages in the US, Lake Sunapee is a jewel all year round, and Lake Winnipesaukee is one of the largest lakes in New England with endless recreational opportunities.

To help make the most of our winter season, the area is dotted with ski areas both large and small, from Killington “The Beast of the East” to downtown Lebanon’s very own public ski area, Storr’s Hill, and the oldest ski area in the US at Suicide Six. If snowmobiling is on your list, fill up before you set out, as the trails are endless, covering the spectacular forests and hills of Vermont and New Hampshire.

Fishing and hunting are right outside your backdoor, and there is great hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, the Green Mountains of Vermont and many spots in between.
